The comedy writer turned Emmy-nominated actor has been working in the entertainment industry for nearly three decades, contributing to a ton of beloved TV staples, as a writer and producer, as well as an actor.
Bob kicked off his career in entertainment by writing for two episodes of Cableville, USA in the late 1980s. Be the early 90s, Bob began contributing to the worlds of late night and sketch comedy, as he wrote for both Late Night With Conan O’Brien and Saturday Night Live. He wrote for shows by other comedy giants like Ben Stiller, Dana Carvey, and Jenny McCarthy, while he and David Cross created the cult comedy sketch series Mr. Show.
Bob occasionally acted in comedies and in sketches for various shows, but his real breakthrough as an actor came in 2009, when he played Saul Goodman on the AMC series Breaking Bad, which led to his own spinoff, Better Call Saul in 2015.
