Bill Gates and Phoebe Gates arrive on the red carpet at the 2022 TIME100 Gala on Wednesday June 8, 2022 in New York City. They were all smiles.
Bill, who is best known as the co-founder of Microsoft, was married to Melinda Gates from 1994 until 2021 and they share three kids together. They include Jennifer, who was born in 1994, Rory, who was born in 1999, and Phoebe, who was born in 2002. Each one of their children has gone on to live impressive lives and have been seen with their parents at both public and private events, such as galas, weddings, and casual outings.
Jennifer has a passion for equestrian jumping. She started riding horses when she was very young and has even represented the U.S. on Nations Cup teams. She’s also competed against other celebrity children involved in the sport, including Bruce Springsteen’s daughter, Jessica. She has graduated from Stanford University and studied medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC. She was married in 2021.
Rory stays out of the spotlight for the most part but his mom called him ‘compassionate and curious’ with a love of puzzles. He’s also a feminist, which his mom is very proud of, and reportedly studied at Duke University before going to business school.
Phoebe is a large presence on social media and often posts fun videos and pics. She attends Stanford University and has been open about the close bond she shares with her parents by sharing cute videos of her dancing with them. She also attends events with them sometimes.
