‘Below Deck’ kicks off season 8 on Nov. 2. Captain Lee is back and headed to the Caribbean, along with fan-favorite bosun Eddie Lucas. This season will be unlike any other. This charter features mostly new crew members that include Francesca Rubi (Chief Stewardess), Rachel Hargrove (Chef), Elizabeth Frankini (Stewardess), Isabelle “Izzy” Wouters (Stewardess), James Hough (Deckhand), and Shane Coopersmith (Deckhand). Francesca is taking over as chief stew from Kate Chastain, who prepared at the end of season 7. Cruising around the Caribbean’s white sandy beaches and crystal blue water, Captain Lee must adjust to the many new personalities on board while the crew juggles a series of challenging and unprecedented charters. One of those challenges is the COVID-19 pandemic, which becomes an issue later on in the season. Season 8 is going to be an epic season for sure.
