Armie Hammer, born on August 28, 1986, is an American actor, who got his start in acting with guest appearances on a number of televisions series. His first leading role came in the 2008 film Billy: The Early Years, in which he played the titular character. Armie’s fame and recognition soared when he starred in 2010’s The Social Network, for which he won the Toronto Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor. The actor’s film resume includes: J. Edgar (2011), The Lone Ranger (2013), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015). In 2017, he starred in Call Me by Your Name, alongside Timothee Chalamet, and received Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In 2018, Armie portrayed starred in the biopic On the Basis of Sex. That same year, he starred on Broadway in a production of Straight White Men. In May 2010, Armie married television personality Elizabeth Chambers, and they went on to have two children together.
