Mario Lopez does it all between balancing life at home with three kids, hosting Access Hollywood and dabbling in other projects as they come his way — including his new clothing collaboration. The Emmy winner, 49, revealed that his busy family life with wife Courtney, and kids Gia, 12, Dominic, 9, and Santino, 3, is what inspired his new line with Amazon’s Real Essentials. “Everyone is pretty busy with school, activities, and shooting. We’re pretty occupied 7 days a week,” he said to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “The whole family wears the brand, they absolutely love the sweat sets,” he added.
Mario gave his millions of followers an inside look at his home life with a hilarious new TikTok filmed with his eldest child Gia, showing how they break it down in a hallway at home! Gia looked so grown up next to her dad as they moved in sync, channeling “two dogs on your FYP” — a common term on the social media platform. “They do be killing it though!” Mario captioned the post, which also showed him wearing a black pair of sweatpants, hoodie and a baseball hat.
The Saved By The Bell icon says was already a fan of the brand when the opportunity came to partner up. “I thought it was great active and loungewear that is also affordable with very cool pieces,” he explained, revealing that when he’s off-set, he lives in cozy items. “I wear both the loungewear and the activewear. The loungewear are sort of a chill at home pieces that are so comfortable that feel like PJs. And the sweats are my favorites…especially classic looks, no big logos, and pieces go with everything and you can mix and match,” he also shared.
Ahead of the Super Bowl, Gia and Mario also took to TikTok for the “Rihanna Song Challenge” where the duo tried to guess what hit singles Rihanna, 34, would perform during her Halftime Show which took place on Feb. 12. The father-daughter pair were fairly accurate, guessing that “Diamonds” and “We Found Love” would make the cut — however, seemed to think that she may skip her 2016 banger “Work” with ex-boyfriend Drake (not the case).
Mario’s Real Essentials’ line is currently available on Amazon and Walmart.
