Kate Middleton, 35, may be known as the royal recycler, but her sister, Pippa Middleton, 33, took a page out of Kate’s book for her own wedding day at St/ Mark’s Church in Englefield, England, when she opted for a familiar-looking pair of earrings — and if you thought you might’ve seen her wedding earrings before, that’s because you did! Pippa first wore them to the Royal Wedding back in 2011! For her wedding day, Pippa paired the dainty earrings with her custom-made silk cotton lace Giles Deacon wedding dress, which was topped off with a tiara — and she looked beautiful.
Pippa Middleton’s wedding earrings were commissioned by the Middleton fam their older daughter, Kate’s, wedding to Prince William, where Pippa showed them off for the very first time as she served as bridesmaid for the special occasion. The pear-cut diamond drop earrings by Robinson Pelham feature an oak leaf and an acorn, which are both part of the Middleton family’s coat of arms. What a sentimental style choice for her special day — and they made a perfect “Something Old.”
Pippa polished off her look with a pair of custom-made Manolo Blahnik ‘Seneca’ shoes, her stunning, antique Asscher-cut engagement ring, and showed off her classic gold wedding band as she exited the church. Pippa’s Welsh gold band is similar to the wedding band of her big sis, Kate Middleton, and follows tradition. For close to 100 years, British royal brides have worn Welsh gold bands as their wedding rings.
What did you think of Pippa’s something old for her wedding day? Did you love the way she recycled her dainty diamond earrings for her own day?
