Emma Roberts channeled old Hollywood in a gorgeous red dress at the Met Gala on May 1 in NYC. Her long hair looked amazing.
Her hairstylist Christian Marc explained the look to us: “For this look we wanted Emma to look simply effortless. We went for a classic blow-out with a twist of 60s Hollywood Glam.”
To get the exact look, follow these steps:
“Start by spraying Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray throughout the hair to create a voluminous blow out.
Once hair is dry, massage Kenra Whip Grip Mousse into roots for added volume.
Next, use a 2” large curling iron for loose curls with plenty of movement.
Spray Kenra Platinum Dry Texture Spray onto the roots, then use a fine comb to create a sleek side part.
Finish with Kenra Platinum Silkening Mist for an elegant shine.”
Her makeup was done by the legendary Charlotte Tilbury, who described the inspiration: “This look is all about a dreamy, lit-from-within glow on flawless, pore-less contoured skin, soft, rose-gold metallics on the eyes to make them look bigger and brighter, and sumptuous, fuller, wider Pillow Talk supermodel natural lips.”
Get her glow by using the new Overnight Bronze and Glow Mask before bed the night before your event.
Charlotte used her Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow followed by the Charlotte Magic Foundation in 2 Fair and 3 Fair for a flawless finish. For a highlight and contour, use the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette in Beauty Glow.
Copy her exact smokey eye by using the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in The Dolce Vita and lots and lots of Legendary Lashes Mascara. Her gorgeous lips were lined with Lip Cheat Line Liner in Pillow Talk and covered with Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk.
