We had color specialist Tamara DeFelice from the Butterfly Studio Salon in New York come into our New York office for a Facebook Live tutorial.
We used Streekers temporary hair color on our model, Lauren. First, part hair in the center and make two ponytails. Use colored hair elastics like we did, or use elastics that match your hair color.
Streekers come in 8 colors, but obviously we used the red and the blue for this look. It comes in a small bottle, and the applicator looks like a lip gloss wand. It’s super easy and fast to “paint” your hair, in small sections.
The hair color takes about 3 minutes to dry. Once dry, brush out. Use a texturizing wax and/or a texturizing spray (I like Oribe) to give your hair body and hold. The whole point of this look is that your hair isn’t supposed to be perfect!
