1.) The bottled iced coffee will launch in early 2017. 

Dunkin’ Brands Group revealed they will partner with Coca-Cola to launch a line of cold-brew coffee beverages in the United States, marking its FIRST venture into the grab-and-go coffee market! Coca-cola will manufacture, distribute and sell the product. So cool!

2.) It will be sold at several locations.

Having a stressful morning and needing a little boost? Never fear, since you can make a pit-stop at grocery stores, convenience stores and Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants to pick up your favorite creamy delight. The global donut chain announced on Sept. 29 that Coca-Cola will produce the coffees using Arabica coffee blends. Yum!

3.) Dunkin’ Donuts will be giving Starbucks a run for their money.

Starbucks has long reigned triumphant when it comes to running the market with their bottled ice-coffees, available at affordable prices in four packs and bottles. According to Fortune.com, Starbucks Corp, has been selling ready-to-drink coffees in North America since 1994. As if that’s not enough, they reportedly control about 97 percent of the U.S. ready-to-drink coffee market in a 50/50 partnership with PepsiCo! Looks like they’re in for some competition!

4.) The global donut company continues to dominate with their iced coffee sales. 

The company’s senior VP of brand marketing revealed, “We sell more iced coffee than anybody else, but we also realize that we need to keep up with the trends. Cold brew is one of the trends that doesn’t appear to be going away.” Ain’t it the truth!

5.) They’ve been business partners with Coco-Cola since 2012.

It seems like Dunkin’ Donuts has found their perfect partner, considering they’ve worked together to serve soft drinks, juices, and other beverages at most of it’s 12,000 restaurants around the world! Donuts chief executive Nigel Travis confirmed, “We strongly believe that this product launch is good for customers and for our franchisees.”
