“You’re absolutely gonna see some Enzo interactions, gonna see a little Bonnie interaction which we didn’t have before,” Tristin Mays told HollywoodLife.com during an exclusive interview at the Television Critics Association Summer press tour. She added that she knew fans were hoping for certain conversations. “Everyone really wanted that [Bonnie and Sarah] interaction,” she said.

In case you don’t remember, the last time we saw Sarah was when Enzo snapped her neck but then sent her out of town but did not compel her. Needless to say, the chemistry between the two of them was definitely there, so we can assume that it may cause some issues with the Benzo relationship that seemed stronger than ever at the end of last season.

As for how long her arc will be this time around, it will be a short one. She’s currently filming a leading role on CBS’ new reboot of MacGyver. However, she’s already started back on TVD.
“It’s already been so much fun coming back and seeing everyone again,” she said. “Fans are really excited. They’ve been waiting . . . I’ve been waiting!” Of course, Tristin did not say what it is that brings her back to Mystic Falls but we know she’s just one of the stars from the past seven seasons that is planning to return.
