Her full name is Maira Alexandra Rodríguez Herrera, which is beautiful — but a mouthful! No wonder the model, who was born in in Maracay, Venezuela, shortened it when she started her career.

2. She is a beauty pageant titleholder.

Alexandra won the Miss Earth Venezuela crown in 2014, representing the Amazonas state. She also represented Venezuela in the Miss Earth 2015 pageant.

3. Alexandra also works as an actress.

She stars as Gina Barrios on the drama series East Los High, which is the only Hulu show with an all-Latino cast. You can watch it as a Hulu Plus subscriber! Alexandra has also done tons of commercials.
