Jimmy Kimmel Tells Donald Trump To Select His Vice President Via ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

He's baaack! Donald Trump returned to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' for the first time since he became the presumed Republican presidential nominee. Of course the host jumped at the chance to make his case for being his Vice President! Donald Trump, 69, turned up the charm on his visit with Jimmy Kimmel, 48, where he yet again played up his softer side and toned down his bold campaign rhetoric. Jimmy's launched a campaign to be the 2016 Veep and if he doesn't make the cut, the host thinks breaking out a round of Celebrity Apprentice to help select Donald's final pick is the perfect way for him to find a running mate!

Introducing Donald as a “Tangerine-tinted Godzilla,” he received huge cheers and applause from the audience as he came onstage. As for Donald’s Veep pick, Jimmy mentioned that, “I would like to be considered,” and then hilariously suggested, “Why don’t you do this just like Celebrity Apprentice, get these guys all in a room and each week. It would he the highest rated show in the history of television, you eliminated one person each week and they go back to wherever the Hell they came from. See, this is why I would be your best Vice President!” Jimmy declared following his brilliant idea as Donald smiled and nodded politely. That would totally be must-see TV!

Jimmy brought up how in 2008 Donald thought said he thought Hillary Clinton, 68.would make an excellent president, and in 2012 she said she was terrific. Donald explained away those compliments as by being an international businessman, “I speak well of everyone, everybody’s wonderful. Including Hillary.” Jimmy asked, “So you were full of crap when you said it?” and Donald just smiled and laughed.

Since Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, 74, is on Kimmel May 26, he gave Jimmy a question for Donald. He asked “Hillary Clinton backed out of an agreement to debate me in California before the June 7 primary. Are you prepared to debate the largest issues facing the state and country before the California primary, yes or no.” Donald agreed, sort of.

“Yes I am, how much is he going to pay me? Because if I debated him, we would have such high ratings, and I think I should take that money and give it to some worthy charity. If he paid a nice sum towards a charity I’d do it.” Hmm, While that would be epic TV to watch those two go at it, we doubt Bernie is going to fork over cash just to get a chance to debate Donald.

HollywoodLifers, what did you think about Donald appearance on Jimmy Kimmel? Did it make you like him more?
