‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Ends With A Bang: Fans Flip Out Over Shocking Finale

If one things for sure: Julie Plec knows how to rock a finale. ‘The Vampire Diaries’ wrapped up season seven with anything but a bow on the May 13 finale, ending the show on a major cliffhanger.

This is your warning: if you haven’t yet watched the season finale of The Vampire Diaries, and have somehow avoided spoilers by now, do not continue reading! If you haven’t, continue to see what the biggest TVD fans are saying about Caroline (Candice King)’s big decision, Damon (Ian Somerhalderand Enzo (Michael Malarkey)’s huge sacrifice, and yes, that voice.

On the season finale, Damon did end up saving Bonnie’s (and Enzo’s) life, but he couldn’t resist that sound of Elena (Nina Dobrev) — so was it just in his mind? Did whatever possessed him have that kind of power? These questions remain unanswered for now, but one thing we do know is and Damon and Enzo are on a seriously tough road now. The episode ended with them basically creating a meat locker full of dead bodies, hanging upside down. Meanwhile, Bonnie now has lost her BFF and her BF, and even though Stefan (Paul Welsey) and Caroline have reunited, they obviously can’t enjoy life without Damon and Enzo! Oh yeah, and Matt peaced out. Maybe for good.

Here’s what the fans are saying!
