Gwen Stefani Blasts Miranda Lambert As ‘Dumb’ & ‘Stupid’ For Leaving Blake Shelton

The truth is all laid out on Gwen Stefani's new album, and since she mostly sings about finding love with Blake Shelton after her divorce, she just couldn't help but take a dig at her man's ex, Miranda Lambert. She even calls the country singer 'dumb' and 'stupid' for ending her relationship with Blake. OMG! Gavin Rossdale isn't the only victim on Gwen Stefani's new album This Is What The Truth Feels Like. There are definitely sad and angry songs about her divorce from the Bush singer, but Gwen also takes a jab at her new boyfriend, Blake Shelton's, ex, Miranda Lambert...and it's pretty harsh. See the shocking lyrics from the album's final song, "Rare," right here!

“Rare” is about Gwen finding someone she never expected, but in praising Blake, she also totally disses Miranda. “I won’t be dumb to give perfection up,” she sings at one point, later adding, “You’re rare and only a stupid girl would let you go.” Umm…yeah, so Gwen is totally calling Miranda “dumb” and “stupid” for divorcing Blake — yikes! To hear more about Gwen and Blake, head over to iTunes and download the latest HollywoodLife podcast for free!

The country power couple never confirmed the reason for their divorce, although it’s been rumored that Miranda cheated on her hubby, leading him to file for divorce in July. He and Gwen unexpectedly got together while filming The Voice in the fall, and have been involved in a hot and heavy romance ever since. Gwen has made it clear that Blake has been a major inspiration for her new music, and the “Gonna” singer is definitely the subject of a majority of the album.

Meanwhile, Blake has new music of his own on the way, and from the first single, “Came Here To Forget,” alone, we can see he’s going to also be pretty open about what he’s gone through. This IS What The Truth Feels Like drops on March 18, and we can’t wait to break down all the Blake and Gavin references after listening to it on repeat!
