Stephen Curry Predicted His Future In Adorable 90s Burger King Ad — Watch

The mystery is solved, we officially know where Riley Curry got her star power from -- her daddy! A young Stephen starred in a Burger King commercial back in the early 90s, alongside his father -- former Hornets star, Dell Curry. Click to watch the MVP in an oversized t-shirt asking for a Whooper. Before Stephen Curry, 27, was smashing records, winning trophies and handling dirty diapers, he was an innocent little boy starring in Burger King ads. One such ad from the early 90s, showcased a young Steph asking his NBA star dad, Dell Curry, what it takes to be great. Obviously his father's advice worked.

First off, why hasn’t this surfaced before? Second, young Steph is a dead ringer for his daughter, Riley — seriously, we did a double take. Third, there needs to be a remakes ASAP, but with Riley. Now, back to the matter at hand. The ad, which appeared during the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Charlotte Hornets on Jan. 4, featured the future best shooter alive rocking an oversized Charlotte Hornets T-shirt (repping his dad) asking his father for advice on how to become a great basketball player.

The opening starts out with a young Dell asking his son, “What do you want to be when you grow up?Obviously that was a no brainer for Steph who responded, “A basketball player.” Dell later tells his son that the key to greatness comes down to being hungry (it’s a BK ad — pun intended here).”You’ve got to taste it. You got to be able to smell it. I mean, you’ve really got to be hungry for it.” Insert the delicious Whooper placement here.

Anyway, this ad was amazing and we know just the youngster who needs to star in the next one, “Way up, I feel blessed” — Riley.
