Kate Middleton, 33, stayed true to her conservative and chic sense of style as she recycled a high-fashion frock by one of her favorite labels, Alexander McQueen! The Duchess stepped out on Dec. 15, where she took place in activities, (like hitting the bongos!), at North London’s Anna Freud Centre, where she opted for a festive red frock which featured a pleated skirt — and if her outfit looks familiar, that’s because it’s actually the third time Kate showed off the ensemble. The Royal Recycler strikes again!
The Duchess showed off her shorter hair with the outfit as she paired it with black pumps and her trusty black Mulberry clutch for her outing, where she participated in a Christmas tree collage-making workshop and a musical performance. Her high-fashion ensemble was sleek, appropriate and chic — and we would expect nothing less from Kate!
Kate first donned the ensemble during the Diamond Jubilee at Buckingham Palace in 2012, where she paired the look with a red clutch, red fascinator and nude pumps. The second time she stepped out in the style was in February 2014, where she switched up her get-up and rocked a black clutch and black pumps, with her glossy long hair cascading over her shoulders in soft waves.
While I’m a huge Kate Middleton fan I really can’t wait until her glossy hair grows out — I definitely prefer it when compared to her new ‘do. Although I’m not obsessed with her new hair cut, I do love her red dress — it’s such a fun, festive choice for the holiday season! Love the look? SHOP for a pleated red frock HERE — we love this look because you can easily dress it up or down. Pair it with tights and booties or a pair of pumps depending on whether you’re taking it from day to night.
What do you think? Do you love that Kate recycled her fave red outfit — and which way do you think she styled it best? Check it out above and let us know.
