Miranda Lambert Suffocated By Blake Shelton Marriage: She’s Finally ‘Free’

Though Miranda Lambert said she was spending nights after he split from Blake Shelton with whiskey and crying, could those really be tears of joy? A new report claims that Miranda allegedly felt trapped in her marriage and she’s doing ‘amazingly well’ after the split!

Blake Shelton, 39, has been all smiles and joy since he split from Miranda Lambert, 32, spending his time with new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, 46. But don’t feel bad for Miranda. She’s reportedly “in a good place” now that she’s no longer involved in her smothering marriage to Blake!

While it seemed that Miranda got the short end of the stick when she and Blake announced their divorce, the “Heart Like Mine” singer has supposedly felt better than she has in years, according to a new report in the Dec. 14 issue of Us Weekly.

“Miranda is actually doing amazingly well,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding that the spotlight on Miranda’s relationship was reportedly too much for her to take. “Being in a public marriage, she felt so boxed in,” the source added. “Now she is free to be herself.”

Despite this reported “amazing” feeling, Miranda has said that her divorce “sucked.” When she broke her silence since the split, Miranda said that she needed time to process “what happened” between her and her former-husband. Miranda actually thinks the man she has married has vanished, since he’s been too busy with his new love to pay Miranda any attention.

Since the breakup, Miranda has tried to keep her spirits high by celebrating her birthday with unicorns — both real and imaginary — and spending holidays with her family. Miranda even plans to get wild during Christmas by going on a trip with her girlfriends. She’s even reportedly dating again. Though she’s not ready for love yet, these dates have reportedly been fun. It seems that Miranda is really enjoying being a single lady once more.

Take Our Poll

“[Miranda’s] really taking time to enjoy her life right now,” the source tells Us Weekly. Now that Miranda doesn’t have to deal with the constant pressure of having a high profile marriage, “she’s in a very good place now.”

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Miranda is doing “amazingly well” following her split with Blake?
