Justin opened up in his Billboard interview, which was released on Nov. 5, but the most shocking revelation is that Justin’s relationship with his mom has completely disintegrated. Justin said that the bond that he shares with her is now “pretty nonexisting” in the interview. The saddest part is that JB admits he was to blame for the rift, and he sounds very sorry that he allowed it to happen. “I was distant because I was ashamed. I never wanted my mom to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust.”

So heartbreaking! Luckily, Justin seems to have realized that he has to put some work in if he’s going to fix things with her, but it won’t be an easy road ahead. “She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better.” Thank goodness!

Pattie was the greatest driving force behind Justin’s success, first fostering his love of music at a young age and then entering him in the talent contest that led to meeting his manager, Scooter Braun. We’re just happy to hear that Pattie still has a well-deserved place in Justin’s heart.  “She’s an amazing woman and I love her.” Aww! We hope these two can get back to normal soon. Good luck, JB!
