Rosie O’Donnell & Tatum O’Neal Dating? They’re ‘Romantically Involved’ — Report

We didn’t see this coming! In the most unexpected romance of the summer, Rosie O’Donnell and Tatum O’Neal have reportedly gone from being ‘just friends’ to something much more. Find out all the details here!

After a summer of shocking celebrity splits, we’re pleased to see that the season has given us at least one new Hollywood couple to cheer for: Rosie O’Donnell, 53, and Tatum O’Neal, 51! After being friends for years, the two have allegedly taken their relationship to new romantic heights. We’re so happy for them!

“They are romantically involved,” an inside source told People magazine. “It’s a bicoastal relationship.” The news of Rosie and Tatum’s under-the-radar relationship comes just months after Tatum revealed to the publication that she is now “dating women.” While the two have managed to keep a low profile in public, People claims they both attended the Broadway opening of Hamilton back in August and reportedly shared an intimate dinner at Da Silvano in New York City, where a fellow diner told the New York Post‘s Page Six Rosie looked “happy and relaxed.” So cute!

The women have even been dropping subtle hints about their romantic relationship on social media as of late, giving us all the more confirmation that these two are most definitely an item. For starters, Rosie tweeted a link to Tatum’s first-person story in Harper’s Bazaar titled “Tatum O’Neal On Women Who Leave Men for Women” on Aug. 21.  The talk show host also retweeted the Oscar winner’s Aug. 27 post promoting her son Sean McEnroe‘s photography exhibit.

However, Rosie’s rep, Cindi Berger, has continued to insist the two women are merely friends: “No, they’ve been friends for several years since they met in Chicago when Rosie did a show for OWN and Tatum did a docu-series for OWN.”  While they may certainly be friends, People‘s source admits that there is definitely something much deeper going on between the two women. “They are confidantes,” said the source. “They are hanging out. They have seen each other on both coasts, in Nyack and in Los Angeles.” The evidence is pretty damning, no?

We for one are thrilled that Rosie has found a supportive partner in Tatum, as she continues to deal with what has been a difficult couple of months for her family.  The new relationship comes just six months after Rosie filed for divorce from her second wife Michelle Rounds, and just weeks after her second eldest child, Chelsea O’Donnell, 17, went missing and was later found in the home of alleged heroin addict Steven Sheerer. Chelsea has since gone to live with her biological mother.

What do you think, HollywoodLifers — Do Rosie and Tatum make a good couple?
