Bobbi Kristina Brown, had not even be laid to rest before a mourner took a picture of her, hours away from death, in her hospice room. Now, National Enquirer has published the shocking pic for all to see. The scandal is eerily reminiscent of a similar controversy surrounding a photo taken of her mother, Whitney Houston, at her funeral in 2012.
It is not yet known who took the grim photograph. Security had been tight, but it seems someone thought making a few dollars was more important than mourning the 22-year-old. Members of the Houston and Brown families have reportedly been blaming each other for possible photograph leaks, but Bobby Brown and his relatives are particularly concerned because they believe it was a Houston family member who sold the photo of Whitney…and they fear history will repeat itself. Another shocking picture of Bobbi, this one in her casket, was reportedly taken during her wake on July 31. The picture was then subject to a bidding war with the winner ultimately paying $100,000 for it. But amid all of this crazy drama, Bobbi’s family members gathered together for her funeral in Alpharetta, Georgia on Aug. 1, and then her burial in New Jersey on Aug. 3. She was laid to rest beside her mother at Westfield Cemetery.
Bobbi had been in a medically-induced since she was found unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 31. After months of hope, her family moved her to a hospice center in June so she could die peacefully, and she sadly passed on July 26. The death is being investigated as a homicide, with Bobbi’s longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon, 26, as a person of interest, but the initial autopsy did “not show an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted.” Our thoughts remain with Bobbi’s family during this difficult time.
What do you think HollwyoodLifers? Should National Enquirer have published this photo of Bobbi?
