There’s no denying that Blake Shelton, 39, is a total ladies man. Girls (of all ages) just love him. From his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, 31, to the young women he mentors on The Voice, the “Drink On It” crooner is simply irresistible. And his flirty demeanor indicates he does not mind the attention one bit. So are his coquetish interactions with his contestants to blame for their sad split? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop!
“Absolutely not,” a source close to the star tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He is more of a father figure than anything else to his contestants and anything sexual is nonexistent. It’s just not happening at all.” Phew. Good to know.
And while his divorce from Miranda has left fans of country music/everlasting love completely devastated, Blake isn’t bothered in the least. At least not according to the poker face he puts on at work, hiding any ounce of heartbreak.
Take Our Poll“He is and has been completely professional the whole time. He hasn’t been crying or hasn’t been Debbie Downer. Blake is a happy guy and he refuses to pull people down to be in a bad mood,” our insider continues. “He doesn’t want people to feel bad for him and he is the same old Blake on set. And everyone likes him the best. He’s super cool and nice and his emotions are completely in check at work.”
The power couple crushed our souls via joint-statement, given to the Associated Press on July 20. “This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy heart that we move forward separately,” they said. “We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
July just must not be a good month for celeb couples. In the zeitgeist, we’ve been forced to say goodbye the the beloved unions of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner as well as Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.
While we thought those separations were hard to handle, nothing can really compare to Blake and Miranda’s trip to Splitsville. We never imagined the pair’s 4-year romance would ever succumb to the curse of Hollywood, and now we’re more positive than ever that true love is actually dead.
