We can imagine it’s a lot of pressure to have 27.1 million Instagram followers like Kylie Jenner, 17! While the KUWTK star floods her fans’ Instagram feeds with tons of sexy selfies and snaps of her lavish lifestyle, she’s the first to admit that sometimes it takes a lot of effort to get one that is gram-worthy — which is why Kylie will take up to 500 pics before putting one up for all to see!
“I take, like, 500 selfies to get one I like,” Kylie told the Daily Mail at Cannes Lions on June 24. Wow — that’s a lot of selfies! We’re not judging though — selfies are tough! It’s all about lighting, angles, makeup, etc. Of course, she’s also letting fans know that she doesn’t look perfect always. Who does? When you have millions of Instagram followers, we can only imagine the pressure to look good is amplified!
“Sometimes I regret putting one up if I find a better one later,” Kylie continues “I’m like ‘damn, that’s a better photo’, but that’s the only thing I regret.” Well Kylie, if it’s any consolation, we think it’s impossible for you to take a bad pic. If you need proof, check out how breathtaking she looked in Cannes!
Believe it or not, even Kylie suffers from low self-esteem, despite her projected confidence. She’s been open about being bullied for most of her life, and while she’s able to slam her haters, posting sexy selfies is her way of feeling better about herself.
“It’s tough because Kylie [gets] a lot of her confidence and self-worth from her looks and body,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She hasn’t found her niche in life, expect for taking sexy selfies. So, her self-esteem is really based on how people respond to her looks.” The world is floored by Kylie’s beautiful looks, but she’s so much more than that too! At the end of the day, she’s just a teenager and there’s nothing wrong with flaunting what you’ve got. Keep killing the selfie game, Kylizzle!
