Lamar Odom, 35, has lost another one of his dear friends. Bobby Heyward, who worked as a producer and writer, died on June 20 at the age of 30. He reportedly died of a drug overdose. Bobby’s death comes less than one week after Lamar’s other close friend, Jamie Sangouthai, suddenly passed away on June 14.
The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that Bobby passed away on June 20, according to Us Weekly. He died of a drug overdose, the outlet reports. The official cause of death was not confirmed by the Coroner’s Office. This is just so heartbreaking. Lamar must be devastated.
Just three days before his death, Bobby posted an Instagram tribute to Jamie. He wrote: #RIP To my big brother Jamie who always brought light into any room he walked into and laughter as well at all times J you will always be missed. Family for life. #BandOfBrothers #tbt.”
Jamie passed away on June 14 at the age of 37. HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported that he passed away due to necrotizing fasciitis and chronic intravenous narcotism, both of which are associated with drug use.
Sadly, Lamar has another friend to mourn now. HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Lamar was beside himself with grief over his Jamie’s death. “Lamar can’t talk without bawling his eyes out. He’s been crying all night and day. It’s so, so sad,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Not only is Lamar extremely sad, but he also feels pangs of guilty over his friend’s death.”
The former NBA star was seen smiling in Las Vegas just a few days after Jamie’s death. Poor Lamar. He’s been hit with tragedy after tragedy. Our thoughts are with Bobby’s family and friends during this difficult time.
