After Kendall Jenner, 19, accused Taylor Swift, 25, of being a Regina George of sorts, the “Style” singer wants it to be known that she won’t let her reputation go down in flames. In fact, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Tay-Tay wants to let the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stunner know that she’s the real “mean girl.” So. Much. Drama!
“Taylor has no idea why Kendall would think she is the mean girl. If anything Taylor thinks Kendall needs a serious lesson or two in the girl code department, for starters don’t date your friends’ exes!” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Obvi, Taylor’s referring to Kendall hooking up with her former flame Harry Styles after they broke up in 2013. Also a big no-no to Miss Swift? Kendall getting cozy with bestie Selena Gomez‘s beloved ex-beau, Justin Bieber. She totes has a point, right? Those were major girl code violations, for sure! “Taylor has little patience for people who don’t respect the meaning of friendship,” our insider explains.
In addition to going after her and Selena’s exes, Taylor’s ill will towards Kendall grew even more after the brunette beauty turned down an offer to participate in her star-studded music video for “Bad Blood.”
“Kendall thinks Taylor is too full of herself and a control freak,” a source told the June 29 issue of OK! Magazine about her refusal. “She thinks Taylor plays people against each other. She’s happy to steer clear of her mean-girl games.” Ouch!
However, “Taylor thinks she’s been nothing but supportive of Kendall, introducing her to lots of influential people, but Kendall’s so consumed with herself, she doesn’t have time to reciprocate,” a source close to the singer also told the mag. Geez, ladies — can’t we just all get along?!
Apparently, putting their problems behind them is just too hard of a task for Kendall and Taylor to take on. “She could have participated [in “Bad Blood’], she just decided not to,” OK! Magazine also reported.
