Nina Dobrev: Fans Mourn Her ‘TVD’ Exit With Gut Wrenching Video — Watch

We’re SO not ready to say goodbye to Nina on ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ We could seriously cry for days! To kickstart our mourning process, we’ve been watching a new ‘TVD’ video, showing all of Nina’s most emotional moments on the show. Apparently, she can cry for days, too!

It still hasn’t hit us that Nina Dobrev, 26, will no longer appear on The Vampire Diaries after May 14. We know we’ll definitely have a box of Kleenex nearby during the season finale because we’ll likely shed some tears — just like Nina did over the course of her career on TVD. A new clip, which shows all of the actress’ most Oscar-worthy crying scenes, has just been released, and it helped us prep for Nina’s super-sad exit. You should watch it, too!

Nina Dobrev Cries In ‘Vampire Diaries’ Video: Most Heartbreaking Moments

By playing three (very!) impassioned characters on The Vampire Diaries, Nina has certainly mastered the art of crying on cue. Yep, Elena Gilbert, Katherine Pierce and even off-the-wall Amara all loved to have a good sob session.

To pay homage to Nina’s beautiful on-screen bawling, MTV News put together an amazing video of the 26-year-old’s most heartbreaking cries on the show. You have to see this because it’s basically a preview of how you’ll look, when you blubber over Nina’s exit from the show! To watch the epic clip, CLICK HERE.

Nina also spoke out about her characters’ weeping ways on May 11. “The whole show was challenging in different ways throughout the six years,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “The multiple characters, the hours, creating characters, deaths. I was constantly crying, it felt like. But for that reason, it kept me occupied, I was never bored, it never felt stale. I always came to work excited, and looking forward to the next thing I got to do.”

‘The Vampire Diaries’: Nina Dobrev Reveals Final ‘Beautiful’ Scene With Ian Somerhalder

If you’re dying to know what Nina’s last moments on TVD will look like, she revealed a few clues about her final scene.

“My last scene was with Ian Somerhalder, and we were shooting a scene I can’t talk about outside that was very beautiful,” Nina explained to THR. “I’m in a gown, we’re outside somewhere, and the last shot, a camera operator came up and said there was something in my hair, was trying to help me, and then he pulled me into a bear hug so I couldn’t escape, while the entire crew got a cake and whipped cream and dumped it all over my body.”

Since the final scene between Elena and Damon will be “beautiful,” it sounds like the possibility of a happy ending for them might soothe a bit of the pain we’ll feel after Nina’s farewell. We can only hope!
