“Patrick has always loved Miley’s craziness and was kind of turned on by her wild antics,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Even antics this wild? Miley’s confident it will spark a fire inside of Pat. “Dying her armpit hair pink and even showing her pubic hair is a message to Patrick, like, ‘See what you’re missing!’ She’s expecting some sort of reaction from Patrick,” says the insider.

Patrick wasn’t the only one Miley wanted to get a rise out of. She wanted to get her Smilers talking, too!

“Miley wanted to do it because it’s her way of shutting down haters who criticize her for growing out her armpit hair. It was basically like a big F-you.
