Ariana Grande, 21, seemed incredibly uncomfortable while Justin Bieber, 21, was putting the moves on her during their April 8 collaboration performance in Los Angeles, but it turns out she wasn’t all that upset about what went down. That is, until she found out how angry her boyfriend, Big Sean, 25, got over it!
“She didn’t really like it, obviously, but didn’t really get mad until Big Sean made it clear that he had issues with it,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, adding that even though the rapper denied his anger, he still didn’t like Justin’s hands all over his girl.
“The more Sean got upset, the more Ariana got upset, so Justin is definitely not on her good side right now,” the insider says. “Justin hasn’t apologized to her or Sean, either. Ariana is still pretty mad over the whole situation.”
Poor Ari, this is such an awkward situation for her to be put in! On the one hand, she and Justin were just having a fun time onstage, but on the other hand, things did seem to get a little out of hand with their PDA.
UPDATE: Ariana’s rep tells HollywoodLife.com that she is not upset at all.
Fans have been going crazy over Justin and Ariana’s performances, both in Los Angeles and back on March 28 in Miami, but after this incident, we may have seen the last of those two sharing the stage.
“Ariana doesn’t want to be put in that same situation again, and she actually isn’t looking forward to doing anything anytime soon,” our insider explains. “She would like the dust to clear before they perform together again.”
The appearances have been great exposure for Justin, who is gearing up to release his first new album in three years, but it looks like he may have to find another way to garner some attention!
Luckily, the Biebs has some other tricks up his sleeve to stay in the spotlight. As HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported, the 21-year-old will make a major music announcement during the Floyd Mayweather fight on May 2.
“Everyone in the world will be at the fight or watching the fight, so Justin is planning to make his announcement on social media while it’s happening,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Nobody knows if it’s a single or an album announcement. Justin is just telling people in his close circle that he has music news coming and that he will share it during the fight.”
And don’t forget the equally exciting news that Justin will be performing at Wango Tango on May 9! Lots to come!
