Kylie Jenner’s latest photo shoot has everyone talking. People are accusing the 17-year-old starlet of wearing blackface for the glamour shots, and celebrities like Zendaya, 18, and Karrueche Tran, 26, are speaking out about it. Are Zendaya and Karrueche condemning Kylie’s photos or coming to her defense? Here’s what we know.
Here’s what Karrueche and Zendaya had to say about Kylie’s controversial photos:
you’re beautiful just as you are girl @KylieJenner !

The point is.. Nobody needs to wish they look like anything.. We are all individually beautiful in our own way. Keep that shit positive.

Kylie posted the photos on April 4 sporting bronzed skin, pink hair and colored contacts. She captioned the photo, “What I wish I looked like all the time.” That certainly got people talking.
Fans took to Twitter to accuse the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star of wearing blackface for the photo shoot. Kylie soon hit the web to defend herself over the accusations.
She claimed that a “black light & neon lights” were used for the photos. She said that she wished she could have “pink hair & blue eyes & covered in sparkles” all the time. She ended her defense with this tweet: “But in this world I’m happy w the way God created me. Happy Easter everybody.”
