After everything Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) has ever done to the students at McKinley High, we never thought Becky Jackson (Lauren Potter) would be the one to defeat her. On the March 6 episode of Glee, Becky throws Sue under the bus by exposing her “hurt locker” to the world.
Ironically, it wasn’t Sue’s Klaine shrine or sick voodoo dolls that sent the Superintendent over the edge when he discovered the storage unit. Instead, it was an issue of Penthouse magazine, which Sue posed in, that led him to firing her from her position as principal at McKinley High.
Of course, she retaliated in the only way she knows how — by getting revenge on Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and the New Directions. The sole reason Becky snapped and ratted her ex-BFF out was because Sue refused to let the Warblers join the New Directions after Dalton Academy burned to the ground. So in her eyes, the glee club is at fault for her firing.
Her plan of attack? Signing on as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline.
Elsewhere, Rachel (Lea Michele) tucked her tail between her legs and headed back to NYADA to meet with Madame Tibideaux. Their meeting was offscreen, so we didn’t get the pleasure of seeing Whoopi Goldberg back in action. (Carol Burnett and Samuel Larson did return though!) Apparently, Rachel was hoping to get readmitted into NYADA, but Madame Tibideaux threw her out of her office. When Rachel returned to McKinley to tell her friends the sad news, she got an unexpected call and was offered a role on Broadway! Sam (Chord Overstreet), however, told Rachel that she shouldn’t give up on her dreams to go back to school so fast. And when Madame Tibideaux called Rachel again to offer her a spot at NYADA, Sam pushed even harder for Rachel to return to school. He told her not to make the same mistake she made once before.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Can the New Directions win at Sectionals? Should Rachel return to NYADA or Broadway? Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel!
