Nikki Reed, 26, treated fans to a glimpse of her gorgeous engagement rings from fiance Ian Somerhalder, 36, when she went jogging in Atlanta, Ga. on Jan. 29. And even better, Nikki flashed her rings again that some day with Ian on her arm!
This is the first time Nikki had rocked her engagement rings on that special finger and we couldn’t be more excited!
What’s interesting is that it looks like Nikki is wearing not one but two diamond eternity bands on her left ring finger. Nikki was first spotted wearing just the slimmer diamond eternity band on its own at Rihanna’s Diamond Ball on Dec. 11, later adding the thicker band sometime in January.
We’re not sure why she opted for two eternity bands, but the look is simply stunning — not to mention costly! HollywoodLife.com reached out to an expert jeweler, who priced Nikki’s bands at a whopping total of $200,000!
“Ian bought a vintage diamond eternity band for Nikki,” a source tells Us Weekly. “It’s not a typical engagement ring but actually a wedding band you purchase for when you get married.”
Could this mean that Nikki and Ian secretly got married? We have so many questions!
Either way, the couple looked blissfully happy together after working out at the gym together in Atlanta on Jan. 29. We love it!
We’re not surprised that Nikki opted for unique engagement rings — after all, she’s not like “most girls.” In fact, she doesn’t even mind that Ian is still friendly with his ex-girlfriend and current The Vampire Diaries co-star, Nina Dobrev, 26 — even after they flaunted major PDA on set.
“Most girls would have a problem with Ian spending all this time with his ex, but Nikki isn’t most girls,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She’s very confident, and she doesn’t see Nina as a threat. Ian’s close friends with pretty much all of his exes. She’s OK with it.”
It sounds like Nikki and Ian have a super healthy relationship!
HollywoodLifers, do YOU love Nikki’s engagement rings as much as we do? Let us know!
