Shailene definitely didn’t have a normal teenage life. She earned her breakout role in, The Secret Life of The American Teenager, at just 15-years-old. Since then, her star has been skyrocketing to the top.
While we are sure that Shailene has tons of Hollywood hotties knocking on her door, she revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively who she was crushin’ on as a teen — and her choice definitely shocked us!
The star said, “I never had a teen crush. Teen obsessions? You know its funny. I never had posters on my wall. I was really obsessed with sewing as a teenager. True story!”
Well, that certainly is a different answer! We were hoping that she would name Daren Kagasoff, or Ken Baumann, from The Secret Life, but we applaud her for her honesty!

On top of taking home the “Best On-Screen Couple” award, the film also won “Favorite Flick” and Ansel took home the “Fan Favorite Actor” award as well — talk about a haul!
Ansel opened up to HollywoodLife.com exclusively about the very real on-screen chemistry between the two! The star revealed, “[Shailene and I are] pretty tight. I like working with her a lot. She’s really good. She’s a really, really good actress. She’s a really nice girl — really genuine.”
We love Shailene’s honesty, we applaud her for being brave enough to admit that her crush may not be the norm!
