Now that’s a finale! The ‘Revenge’ season finale had everything from shocking reveals to crazy deaths and even a surprise return!

The May 11 season finale of Revenge delivered a jaw-dropping end to season three. Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) and Emily (Emily VanCamp) faced off in a deadly way, two major characters suffered grisly deaths and David Clarke (James Tupper) returned! Let’s head to the Hamptons!

‘Revenge’ Recap: Too Much, Too Soon

Emily was analyzing the ring that Jack (Nick Wechsler) had showed her with her father’s initials, but she was far more concerned with watching Conrad (Henry Czerny) go down. Emily and Aiden (Barry Sloane) were loving watching Conrad suffer. They were also reminiscing about getting back together. “I love you, Aiden,” Emily said. They were so sweet and so happy.

Victoria joined Margaux (Karine Vanasse) in sending Pascal’s (Olivier Martinez) body back to France. Victoria considered Margaux family, but Margaux was still determined to find out who was responsible for her father’s death. Meanwhile, Victoria was concerned with making both Conrad and Emily pay for any involvement.

With Margaux in charge, Daniel (Joshua Bowman) was named second in command of the company. However, Margaux’s brother Gideon showed up and wasn’t going anywhere. Javier (Henri Esteve) showed up at Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) and apologized for siding with Daniel and Margaux. Nolan accepted his apology and said he had big plans for Javier’s app, even though it technically wasn’t his anymore.

Gideon stopped by Nolan’s to talk about Margaux. He was angry that she sold the company out from under him and he wanted it back, with Nolan’s help. Or he at least wanted to get involved with Nolan’s plans for the Myclone app. However, he had to find something on Daniel in order for him to turn over the app to him.

‘Revenge’ Recap: Goodbye, Sweetheart

After his arrest, Conrad wanted a good next move, but there wasn’t one. The police had reopened the investigation into Pascal’s death because Conrad now had motive from a letter they had received. His lawyer advised Conrad to take a plea deal for life in prison.

Victoria was still stewing over how Charlotte wasn’t related to Carl, which meant that his mother wasn’t the real Amanda Clarke. Victoria was on to Emily. Emily went to the cabin where Jack had taken Charlotte and found a picture of her and her father. But that mystery man working for Victoria was there to fight, but was no match for Emily.

Emily was stabbed with a needle, but it was just for a DNA test Victoria wanted to get from her. Aiden was understandably worried when Emily returned with cuts and bruises.

In order to nail Victoria to the ground, Aiden went to her therapist, Dr. Michelle Banks (Amy Landecker), to get information. Michelle said she had records that would take down Victoria, but as she was going to get them, she signaled for Victoria to go in! Aiden sipped on a cup of tea and waited for the records, but things just went downhill. Victoria walked in and said she was leveling the playing field with Emily. The tea he was drinking paralyzed him! “Emily ripped away my chances for true love and now I’ve ripped away hers,” Victoria said. Then, Victoria smothered Aiden! (RIP Aiden.)

Emily went to Jack’s and saw on TV that David Clarke’s trial had been reopened and he was cleared of all charges. Jack and Emily were elated and Emily had finally thought she’d won. However, her world was about to be destroyed. When she returned to the cottage, she found Aiden’s body! Once she realized he was dead, Emily lost it.

Nolan came to see Emily the next day and she was in major grieving mode. “I loved him,” she said. “I’d never loved anybody. We could have had a life together.” Emily knew Victoria had killed Aiden and this was going to refuel her fire. Nolan and Jack were seriously worried about Emily and what she was going to do next, but Emily was already after Victoria before they even realized she was gone.

‘Revenge’ Recap: Long Live David Clarke

Emily first stop was at Michelle’s office. She backed Michelle into a corner with knowledge of Michelle’s involvement in Aiden’s murder. Emily forced Michelle to comply with her demands.

Daniel met up with Gideon for drinks and intel about his intentions concerning the company. Daniel got wasted and woke up next to a dead girl! Gideon had given the girl cocaine and she had overdosed. Nolan was worried about who he had gotten into business with, but it was too late now. However, they now had information to blackmail Daniel with.

Emily went to see Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) and told her about David’s ring. She wanted Charlotte to move David’s body for safety reasons. Charlotte refused and Emily said she would do it herself. Later, Charlotte told Victoria about Emily’s plans. Victoria found Emily digging up a grave and admitted all along that she knew something was off about Emily. Emily assured her that her plans for Victoria weren’t finished yet. She told Victoria she should kill her right then and there. No one would miss her. Victoria thought Emily was digging up David’s grave, but Emily was digging up Amanda’s! Then, Emily smacked Victoria with her shovel.

Charlotte came running to Jack and wanted to know about the ring. Jack was more concerned about Emily and tried to push Charlotte out. However, as Jack put his hand on her shoulder, she realized Jack was one of her kidnappers! Charlotte confirmed her theory by breaking into Jack’s car and looking at his torn seat. She called the police and Jack was taken in for questioning!

When Victoria woke up, she was in a mental hospital with Emily by her side. Emily had her committed after she told the doctors Victoria was digging up Amanda’s grave! Michelle came in and said Victoria had a psychotic break. Emily told Victoria goodbye and left her screaming.

Meanwhile, Conrad wasn’t doing too well in prison. One particular guard even started beating him! He started praying for a reprieve when the guard showed up. Turns out, the guard was there to help Conrad escape! The guard said Conrad’s transportation was waiting down the road from him. Conrad walked down the road looking smug and powerful. A van pulled up from behind and a hooded man stepped out. When he took down the hood, the man revealed was David Clarke! David stabbed Conrad and he dropped dead in the middle of the street.
