Duck Dynasty‘s Jase Robertson and his wife Missy have been very candid about their personal life. They touched America by sharing their brave daughter’s story of her birth defect, and also revealed that they suffered a miscarriage. Now, they’re talking about their sex life! The couple revealed that they waited to do the deed until their wedding night, but not too fast — Jase says, “Sexy is not a dirty thing. It’s a beautiful thing!”
‘Duck Dynasty’: Jase and Missy Robertson — Why They Waited For Sex Until Their Wedding Night
Jase and Missy Robertson have been together since they were teenagers, but their long relationship started off very slow!
“It took me a little while because I thought, there’s no way I can meet somebody at 16 and know,” Missy revealed in a brand new interview with US Weekly. “But the more we started dating, our relationship became a very spiritual one, so we knew that there was something different about it.”

Missy continues to explain the beginning of their dating relationship, detailing their second date. “Jase looked at me in his truck and he said, ‘I just want you to know that I’m not going to lay a hand on you.’ And I said, ‘Well good, because I’m not going to let you.'”
Well, slow and steady wins the race! “We realized we had the same commitment of staying pure until our wedding night,” Missy says. “We encouraged and supported each other.”Jase adds that the waiting game wasn’t easy. “It was really hard…I’ve never had anything else in my life requiring that amount of self-discipline and self control!”
Now, the couple laughs it of. “Afterward, the process of intimacy was an enjoyable experiment. That night was funny,” says Jase, and his wife agrees. “But it wasn’t too bad, because I knew that he’d never done it either,” says Missy. “I wasn’t embarrassed. I wasn’t the only one having to learn. We look back and laugh now. We laughed that night too, like, ‘What are we doing? I don’t know. Let’s try this!'”
Jase Robertson Admits That Sex Is A ‘Beautiful Thing’
Three kids later, the couple has clearly figured it out!
Jase admits that he still makes moves on his lady, and they still seem like two teenagers in love! “I flirt with her. I kiss her,” Jase says. “I pat her on the rear in front of my kids.”
But the Robertson kiddo clan does not like the parental PDA! “They’re like, ‘Oh, that’s gross,’ and I usually say, ‘Hey, it’s not too gross or you wouldn’t even be here,'” daddy Jase explains. “We do that because we want to show them that sex is not a dirty thing. It’s a beautiful thing.”
