Rebecca McBrain, Paul Walker’s Ex, Supporting His Girlfriend After His Death
Those closest to Paul continue to come together to cope with his death. A new report claims that Paul’s ex and the mother of his daughter, Meadow, has put any awkwardness aside to help Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, who is still shellshocked from losing her boyfriend.
Usually exes try to stay as far away from each other as possible, but Paul Walker‘s tragic death on Nov. 30 has reportedly brought together his girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, and his ex and mother of his child, Rebecca McBrain, as they support each other in their grief.

Because Jasmine, 23, and Paul were reportedly so close to taking the next step in their relationship before he tragically lost his life, she has been nearly inconsolable. So Rebecca, of all people, has stepped up to offer Jasmine support.
“Rebecca has been in touch with Jasmine,” a source told Showbiz Spy. The biggest factor in pushing Rebecca to be there for Jasmine, is the fact that Rebecca reportedly knew that her 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, and Jasmine were very close. “She is keen to make sure she’s doing okay,” the source added, “if only for Meadow’s sake.”
“Even though Paul and Rebecca were only together for a short time, they shared a special bond because of Meadow — and she knows what a special guy Paul is.” This sort of emotional, selfless act ensures that Paul’s death won’t be in vain — it’s amazing to see those close to Paul sticking together, and doing so out of love for Paul and love for his daughter.

Our hearts still go out to Jasmine — she not only lost her boyfriend of seven years, she also lost her future.
“There’s no doubt Paul was planning on marrying her when she was ready,” a source told OK!. “He knew she was young and had her own things she wanted to achieve, but he always said she was worth the wait.”
