Paul Walker‘s charity event on Nov. 30 was coming to a close when the Fast & Furious actor decided to take a “quick spin” with his close friend Roger Rodas in a Porcshe that was on display. Jim Torp, an engineer who attended the fundraiser, was with Paul when he spoke his last words before getting into the car, and Jim has shared them with HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Read on for more details.

After a hugely successful day raising money and collecting toys for needy children around the world, Paul decided to take a short ride with Roger in the Porche that would later crash and explode.
“I was with Paul when he said what would be his last words,” Jim Torp, 52, tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Paul and Roger went to take one of the cars that was on display for a quick test ride, before they were going to park the Porche in the warehouse. Paul said to us, ‘We will be back in five minutes.’ Those were his very last words.”
So chilling. We can’t believe Paul is really gone.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Paul was thrilled about his charity’s success at the fundraiser and was in great spirits before the tragic one-car accident.
“Paul was just so overjoyed and full of gratitude,” Jim told us EXCLUSIVELY. “His charity had raised about $1 million worth of toys and games. It was just an incredible night full of so much generosity and that is what Paul and Roger were all about. They were both extremely kind-hearted men.”
Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Paul and Roger’s families and friends.
