Lil Snupe may be gone, but he will not be forgotten. Rap star Meek Mill was mentoring the up-and-coming artist until the 18-year-old rapper was tragically shot and killed on June 20, and he has been tweeting his remorse at the loss of his protege.
Meek found out about Snupe’s sad death on June 20, and has been tweeting a lot since he learned that his talented protege was allegedly murdered.
He wrote a series of tweets:

As a tribute to Snupe, Meek tweeted his video “Nobody,” with the message:”May you rest in peace/Forever a Dreamchaser.” Dreamchasers is the name of Meek’s record label, which had just recently signed Lil Snupe.
Police are still searching for Snupe’s alleged killer. On June 22, the Winnfield Police Department issued a warrant for the arrest of Tony Holden, 36, according to TMZ. He is believed to have killed Snupe over video games, and is a dangerous man, TMZ reports.
