Kidnapper Ariel Castro apparently had a moment of sanity in which he wrote a letter confessing to being a “sexual predator” who needed “help.” At one point he actually wanted to kill himself, he wrote in a letter obtained by 19 Action News reporter Scott Taylor. But what is most disturbing, is that in the letter allegedly obtained by police, he had the nerve to blame Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight for getting into his car.
Ariel’s home, where he kept the three women locked in the basement, is currently being searched by police. 19 Action News reporter Scott Taylor received a copy of a letter from 2004 that was found, where Ariel made a series of crazy confessions. Scott tweeted the details:
I just got a copy of a letter written by Ariel Castro in 2004. Cops found it in his house. He says “I am a sexual predator. I need help”
Castro writes “They are here against their will because they made a mistake of getting in a car with a total stranger.”
Castro continues “I don’t know why I kept looking for another. I already had 2 in my possession.”
Castro writes about wanting to kill himself and “give all the money I saved to my victims.”
Castro writes he was surprised how young Gina Dejesus really is cause he thought she was a lot older.
This is truly shocking news. It is interesting that Ariel shows remorse for kidnapping the girls, especially Gina, and that he admits that he is a predator, however he blames the girls for getting into his car.
This letter is surely going to reveal much more about Ariel’s actions.
Ariel was charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape, and this brothers were also arrested.
Police said that Ariel, and his brothers Onil and Pedro Castro, bound their captives with ropes and chains. The women were rescued on May 6 after a neighbor heard Amanda’s cries for help.
Amanda, 27, broke through the screen door and called the police, with the help of neighbor Charles Ramsey.
She said, “Help me. I’m Amanda Berry. I’ve been kidnapped, and I’ve been missing for 10 years and I’m, I’m here, I’m free now.”
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do YOU think Ariel is showing remorse for what he has done?
