Taylor Swift‘s hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is believed to be about her failed love with Jake Gyllenhaal. But now lyrics throughout her entire album sound to be about Jake as well.
On “State of Grace”, Taylor sings, “Now all we know is don’t let go,We are in love just you and me
Up in your room and our slates are clean, Just twin fire signs, four blue eyes…”
Taylor’s birthday is December 13 while Jake’s is December 19.
“And I never saw you coming, And I’ll never be the same…Love is a ruthless game…You’re my Achilles heel,” Taylor adds in the song.
In “All Too Well,” Taylor recounts meeting an ex-boyfriend’s family, singing about meeting his parents and leaving her scarf at his sister’s house (Maggie Gyllenhaal, anyone?).
She sings, “Walked through the door with you. It was cold, but something ’bout it felt like home somehow and I Left my scarf there at your sister’s house. And you still got it in your drawer even now.”
Furthermore, on “Holy Ground,” Taylor, who is from Nashville, talks about discovering New York City as she sings, “‘We had this big wide city all to ourselves.”
Jake lives in New York City.
