Teresa really deserves the Super Mom of the Year award!
We can’t believe that in the middle of filming RHONJ, Celebrity Apprentice, regular red carpet appearances AND book signings, she manages to be a full-time mom of four beautiful daughters:Gia, 11, Gabriella, 7, Milania, 6, and Audriana, 2 — with almost NO help.
“Gia, Gabriella and Milania are in school all day, but Adriana is with me. I have no help with the girls,” she tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “I just get a babysitter for book signings or when I have to shoot TV and the girls can’t come along. I cook dinner every night and I always cook for the kids before going out. I have one cleaning lady who comes every other week.”
AND she does all of the laundry in the house! Plus, she drives her girls to all their activities- dance, gymnastics, art classes, piano – “they’re not lazy kids and I encourage them,” she says.
And don’t expect Teresa to slow down any time soon.
“I like to work because I want them [my daughters] to be strong, independent woman, too,” Teresa says.
The New Jersey Housewife says she never wanted a nanny because it’s always been very important to her to be an involved parent. Once, before she had children she was working in Manhattan and saw the small children of a working mom run to their nanny — and not their mom. After that, she promised herself that she would never let that happen to her own family.
“I never wanted my kids to love the nanny more than me,” she admits.
And the one time she did decide to get a nanny — she was gone in 24 hours!
“One time I was considering getting a nanny, and I hired one but she quit after one day. At the end of the day she said ‘this is too much work,” Teresa tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Yikes! So how exactly does Teresa juggle work and her family?
“I have a very high energy level,” she tells us.
We bet you do, Teresa! We are in awe with you and everything you do!
